Here Comes the Sun
It’s early morning, the best time of day. Every day I am thankful to have woken up after knowing and losing so many souls this last year. The drive to work was cold and dark, once we arrived the sun started poking up from the horizon creating a soft pink-orange skyline. I nearly experienced losing my own life years back when I contracted dangerous Sepsis after being misdiagnosed numerous times. Emergency surgery saved my life. I came out of that experience with a whole different outlook on everything. Everything and everyone has meaning and we are all relevant.
We moved back to New England after living in Florida for five (long) years. Though the weather was nice there (some of the loveliest sunsets I have experienced), here in our tiny town life is a slower pace, the people more welcoming, and the environment is much cleaner. Time goes by so fast, it was 15 years ago and it feels like just yesterday we returned north. Today I’m hoping it will be busy so my shift will pass faster. This is just a quick post as I wait for work to begin, more later. I am still new to keeping a blog but will get better. Happy Tuesday morning.
