Summer is for Exploring

Throwback to some summer shots during a few of our local explorations. It’s amazing how much hidden beauty can be found right under the nose if you actually look. We started exploring during Covid and have carried on ever since, weather permitting.

Here I am again with the phone posting. It’s early and I was going over some camera roll photos. This dam and the waterways can be found five minutes away. I acquired an older Olympus dslr camera the day I took these photos, and was out testing it. I have a love of old cameras.

We both love nature hikes, my husband is a fair weather fisherman. I go with him and wander off exploring with my cameras. I say cameras because I have three older ones, a Nikon, a Canon, and the Olympus. I may not lead an exciting life, but I stay busy photographing what I do have. Photographs are sweet memories, a time in life we cannot get back.
